  • CONTENT:
    1. Review of risk metrics. 2. Systemic risks and financial stability. 3. Macroprudential indicators. 4. Macroprudential policies and tools. 5. Workshops.
  • Objective:
    To carry out a fundamental, but essential synthetic review the state of the art in measuring the different financial risks, and then address systemic risk and close of with an analysis of the main indicators of financial stability/instability and the macro prudential instruments that exist today.
  • AIMED AT:
    Areas of risk management, financial stability, economic studies, financial markets and regulation from central banks and superintendencies members of CEMLA. Since it is not an introductory course and a comprehensive vision is intended, it is essential that attendees have, as a minimum, basic knowledge of probability and statistics and of the main models for pricing financial instruments. Some knowledge of the prudential policy framework is also convenient.
