  • CONTENT:
    The Seminar will address current issues in the field of financial stability presenting them with a comprehensive approach as a response to public policy goals. For this purpose, the Seminar will discuss the main elements of a macro-prudential framework in order to identify, diagnose, monitor and prevent systemic risks and policy performance to be observed within said macro-prudential framework. The construction of macro-prudential tools, elaboration of financial stability reports, impact studies, proposals for resolution of systemically important institutions, and the design, organization, execution and evaluation of stress testing, among others, will be covered in the sessions. The case of Spain, with its accumulated experience in countercyclical provisions, the configuration of recent reforms of its financial system and the structure and organization for monitoring and analysing financial stability by the Banco de España, will serve to illustrate the relevant points of the Seminar.
  • Objective:
    Examine and exchange experiences in relevant aspects of financial stability.
  • AIMED AT:
    Professionals of central banks or bank superintendencies that are members of CEMLA or ASBA, with experience in the areas of financial stability, operations, economic studies and regulation.
